My Products

Here you'll find projects, games, apps and resources I've released up until now in chronological order.

Most of the games you'll find here are Pokémon related. This is because Pokémon Fangame development was the ignition of me actually finishing projects. Ever since Pokémon D.W. I've been 'addicted' to joining Game Jams, mostly because they give me something to do and a deadline to work towards. It sparks my imagionation and helps me be creative.

Pokémon Zorua (Discontinued) - 2019

Pokémon Zorua was the first Pokémon Fangame I worked on. It was completely indie, meaning I was the only developer on it. The game is about a Zorua who disguises themselves as a trainer and climbs up the ranks to become a strong enough trainer to beat an evil team. It was made using Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP, a Ruby-based game engine.

The game has been released as a discontinued project and is not in a playable state.

Voltseon's Handy Tools - 2020

This is a tool that was made for Pokémon Fangame developers who use Pokémon Essentials.

It's a tool that helps people with hard to remember methods and has its own documentation to make development a little bit easier. It was entirely written in Ruby.

Pokémon D.W. - 2020

Pokémon D.W. is the first Pokémon Fangame I actually finished. It's a game that was made for the Relic Castle Game Jam #6 with the Escape Theme. The game is about a world where strong trainers oppress the rest of the population and lock them up in camp-like cities. The player gets locked up in one of these cities: Deserted Wasteland. The way out is blocked by a strong trainer. Gear up and prepare for a battle between life or death. It was made using Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP, a Ruby-based game engine.

Pokémon Splice - 2020

Pokémon Splice is a Pokémon Fangame project that I joined during July of 2020. It's a game that was made for the Relic Castle Game Jam #6. It was developed by Thundaga (Cameron) along with Tristantine The Great (Tristan) and Kristiano100 (Kristian). The game is about a research assistant who travels the Stacona region with the science experiment Arenay, a Pokémon that can change its cellular structure. I did mostly sprite work for this game, and development is still going on to improve the story and add to it. Since its initial release a lot of other amazing people also joined the development team, ENLS, Broskiddo (Golisopod User), Seyuna, Plum and Tabletpillow.

Pokémon Splice was developed with the help of an amazing team! Go check them out too!

Planet Stranded - 2020

Planet Stranded is my first ever non-fangame I've made and released. It's a game that was made for the VimJam with There and Back as its theme. In this game you play as a space traveler who has crash landed on an unknown planet. It's your job to fix the ship with parts scattered throughout the planet. But you can't stay out for too long as your oxygen will run out, which you'll have to refuel at your spaceship. The game was made using GDevelop, a javascript-based game engine

PokéScape 3D - 2021

PokéScape 3D is the first 3d game I've ever made and released. It's a game that was made for the Relic Castle Winter Jam #2. You're a Pokémon that has found themselves in the middle of a city. Try to not get caught by avoiding trainers and collecting jars of jam. This game was made using Unity, a C#-based game engine.

You're a beekeeper and by using your utility you try your best to sell as much honey and become rich. This game was made for the Relic Castle Winter Jam #2 and won a Community Vote spotlight. It was made using Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP, a Ruby-based game engine.

My friend Riolu - 2021

My friend Riolu is a simplistic game which was made for the Pog Jam #1. The game was made in 3 hours by the jam rules. You try to befriend your Riolu in order to make it evolve. You do this by going through different attractions in this park specifically made for befriending your Pokémon. It was made using Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP, a Ruby-based game engine.

Voltseon's Pause Menu - 2021

This is a tool that was made for Pokémon Fangame developers who use Pokémon Essentials.

It's a script which makes players their pause menu much more interesting. It shows more details about their Pokémon, their location and is very stylish. It is set up so that it's really easy to modify the style and theme. It was entirely written in Ruby with the help of Golisopod User.

Voltseon's Pause Menu wouldn't have been possible without the help from Golisopod User. Check him out as well!

Pokémon and the Last Wish - 2021

Pokémon and the Last Wish is a Pokémon Fangame where the player goes on a journey in a new region to meet a special new friend.
"Every 1000 years a comet appears in the night sky. It can only be seen for seven days before it disappears again, for another 1000 years. "The Millennium Comet" is a special type of comet, containing an immense amount of energy. It is said that this energy has the power to awaken 'The Wishmaker'."

This is a tool that was made for Pokémon Fangame developers who use Pokémon Essentials.

It's a script that allows for automatic move route calculation, aka Pathfinding, in the RPG Maker XP game engine. This is a feature not included in the base version of RPG Maker XP, nor is it in the dev kit Pokémon Essentials. It allows this move route calculation by making use of the A* Pathfinding algorithm. It was entirely written in Ruby.

Voltseon's A-Star Pathfinding was made with the help of Golisopod User. Check him out as well!
